After a successful first year, In-Drinks Catalyst launches its business accelerator competition for the second year with the promise to assist emerging beverage companies in expanding their business.

In-Drinks Catalyst is now open for entries and invites alcoholic and non-alcoholic producers who have been trading for three years or less to compete for a year’s worth of business advice, networking opportunities and introductions within the drinks sector.

There were two winners in the 2023 In-Drinks Catalyst competition.

The non-alcoholic category was won by Tongue in Peat, a peat-smoked tomato juice, after the company's proposal and expansion strategy impressed the panel of judges. Hannah Fisher, founder of Tongue in Peat, commented on the competition:

“Winning In-Drinks Catalyst in 2023 has elevated our business, opening doors to new opportunities, partnerships and boosting our brands recognition. I encourage you to enter this competition as it could take your business to the next level.”

Panther M*lk won the fiercely contested alcoholic category for introducing an original product to the market with significant room for expansion. The judges were extremely impressed with Paul Crawford's oat-based cocktail from Glasgow. Paul Crawford, founder of Panther M*lk commented:

“Winning the In-Drinks Catalyst Competition for UK Start-Up Drinks Company of the Year 2023 (Alcohol) gave us industry credibility and access to expert advice, resulting in investment for Panther M*lk. It is a fantastic competition that not only provides access for drinks experts but also puts you in front of potential new customers. I recommend entering if you want to take your drinks business to the next level.”

Entrants have until Wednesday 24th January 2024 to submit a short-written entry. For entry support please contact sophie@kdmedia.co.uk.
