Janet Hood
It is with deep sadness that we learn that Janet Hood, one of Scotland’s most brilliant licensing lawyers, passed away on 22 May 2024.
Janet was a vibrant and dedicated part of the Scottish Legal Awards having served as a judge for over 15 years.
Her passion for the law, her enthusiasm for life and tremendous commitment to her clients, made her a hugely popular and much trusted adviser in the hospitality sector. As a judge in the Scottish Legal Awards, she was dedicated, rigorous and enthusiastic; always seeing the best in people.
